About This Site
I am my kids’ mom, my husband’s wife, a journalist, a photographer, a fairie dust collector, a teacher, a freind, and a tester of creativity. For the past fifteen years, I have been involved in the daycare business from owning and operating my own daycare, to being a teacher, to being an advocate for other providers. I worked tirelessly to get rules and regulations changed for the betterment of the children. This is what it’s all about folks, the children, our future. As this site grows, it will not only hold reviews for local daycares from registered in-home daycares to certified providers to centers, but it will honestly and factually uphold the local news involving daycares and providers. Learn new projects in the art corner, and things you may need to know as a provider, such as what to do if a child is injured in your care. For parents, I offer advice on finding the right daycare, things you need to know, and fun things to do with your kiddos when they are not being cared for by a provider.
